My Story
Hi, I’m Jessica! I’m from a small town in mid Missouri. I’m married to an amazing man and we have two wonderful kiddos. Our daughter is 8 and our son is 2. We also have a 12 year old Boston Terrier Mix named Roscoe.
We’re a homeschool family for many reasons but one is because our life is a little crazy sometimes since we travel around so much! Sometimes we travel more often in our RV and sometimes we settle down for a couple of months in a furnished, short term rental.
Our kids are definitely cultured! But soon we'll be putting down some roots with lots of travels in between!
Currently, we are staying in Florida until Spring…. which I love!
How It All Began
I started blogging back in June 2016. At that point, all I knew was that I wanted to work from home so I could be with my daughter. I saw a post about making money blogging and I jumped in feet first!
Luckily, my blog only took a few months to take off and I started making money pretty quickly which was awesome!
Little did I know… I still had A LOT to learn!
I purchased a course that came with an hourly meeting once a week with the creator. She helped me figure out a product to sell along with my most popular blog content at the time. That product is my Health and Fitness Workbook that I still sell.
It took years to actually start selling that thing though! I started creating printables and still… I was getting nowhere!
I learned about Facebook advertising and still… nowhere. The planners weren’t selling. Which led me to getting a job as a Facebook Ads Manager for a short time and learning so much from the agency!
It wasn’t until one day my husband made a comment, “Why don’t you make it to where people can use your planners online.” I was like, “That’s not a thing, babe.”
LOL!
And then I came across digital planning! The lightbulb went off in my head!
I’d always liked making and using printable/paper planners, but once I started using digital planners all I could think about was turning my printable planners into digital planners.
I took all of my knowledge of sales funnels, Facebook advertising, product creation, etc., etc. and created a thriving digital planner business in October 2021!
As my business has grown so has my team! We love figuring out ways to help give more and more value to our customers and subscribers!
